Service Description:

My name is Rickson, let me bring you on a trip around Kuala Lumpur for a truly unique and memorable experience of this amazing city. On this trip, I will bring you to places where you can experience the little nuances of our culture, history and street cuisine in a single day for what would normally take three.

  • A FULL day’s travel with no time limit. We can end the day at midnight on a skyscraper helipad or at ZOUK.

  • All tolls, parking fees and petrol included.

  • Price quoted is for up to 4 pax

** 4 travelers + 1 Local Chaperone

> The price quote for this tour excludes all entrance tickets, trishaw rides, meals etc.

> For many of the venues we will be visiting you will need to pay a fee for food, drinks or entry on a per person basis. Please see more information on this below.

PPF is your personal expenses like meals, drink, souvenir, tickets and etc.

9:00am - Pick up from hotel or other venue to be advised by travellers.

9:05-10:30am - Breakfast at a Bak Kut Teh (Herbal Pork Soup) stall under a tree by the roadside. Bak Kut Teh is one of the most popular dishes in Malaysia and upon savoring it early in the morning, you will find out why! I can assist you in making an order to suit your tastes, and we will split the bill for breakfast later.

10:30am-12:30pm - I can bring you to one of the places listed below, or you may make a suggestion on where you would like to go.

1. Visit the National Palace (Istana Negara).

2. Visit Batu Caves.

3. Visit Merdeka Square and Sultan Abdul Samad Building.

4. Chinatown - Petaling Street

12:30pm-2:00pm - We could stop by Chinatown at Petaling Street for lunch; this place has a lot of street food and cuisine all within walking distance. Alternatively, I could recommend a NYONYA** restaurant owned and run by friends of mine near by Chinatown (and away from the tourist traps). The same arrangement will be had here where we split the bill for lunch. :)

**NYONYA is very special culture in Malaysia where Chinese people married with local Malay and form a family, Nyonya culture dates back from Colonial times and beyond, to the era of the Melaka Sultanate.

2:10pm-6:00pm - Petronas Twin Towers, 453m, the tallest twin buildings in the world. Here you will have free time to hang around. Apart from shopping, or having a drink at the upscale mall on its grounds, there is also an Aquaria nearby and a large urban park within its grounds. As you stroll about and visit what you fancy, I will be checking out the tickets to Top of the Twin Towers; tickets and access is limited though, so getting one depends very much on luck. :)

6:00pm-7:30pm - For dinner, KL has so many eateries that we will not be short of options, so you could tell me what you fancy having and I can bring you to a suitable place. Alternatively, I could also recommend a “Mamak” eatery, where I will order interesting concoctions such as Roti KLCC that will leave you amazed at the culinary ingenuity of this evergreen Malaysian culinary tradition.

** “Mamak” refers to Malaysian Muslims of an Indian origin. Their food culture is uniquely different from that of the local Malay one, and very much in demand with us locals.

7:45pm-10:00pm - For the energetic and for those who do not have a mind to retire, we could go to the Helipad Bar for a drink and to enjoy the amazing nightscape of Kuala Lumpur from the vantage point of a helipad. The streets of Kuala Lumpur are amazing when seen from above and at night and with the iconic Twin Towers and KL Tower as landmarks. A picture taken here will capture a timeless moment that will be perfect for postcards to loved ones back home.

10:10pm-late - For creatures of the night, let’s party at ZOUK - the biggest nightclub in Kuala Lumpur. I will be there as a friend and chaperone, so not to worry. Even if you get blind drunk, I will be there to make sure you get home safely instead of ending up sleeping on the streets. Let’s party up a storm!

End of the day we will become friend and you are welcome to find me again anytime

Rickson has been great for hosting my bosses from Hong Kong. He even provided 7 seaters car that made the tour comfortable. Overall experience was excellent especially with the local foods he introduced.
